Eye lid dryness and irritation help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(?

My eyelids have been dry and irritated for about 3 months now. I got a prescribed cream from my doctor that should get rid of rashes but it does thin out the skin which is scary since its on my eyes. I haven't seen big results with this cream since I'm still having this problem (hydrocortisone acetate). It started when I tried this new eye shadow, which is now thrown out. I avoid wearing makeup that is not for sensitive skin, I mainly use hypoallergenic- plus I don't wear much, maybe some mascara. Lately my left eye has been twitching for 5 days on and off. It may be because of exams and lack of sleep but now that's all over and I just woke up from a 12 hour sleep. Whats wrong with me! And what should I do :(. P.S. I'm a 15, almost 16 year old girl. And medical stuff scares me.
