Eye itches after taking eye drops (Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension USP)?

I have been taking eye drops (Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension USP) because I got hit with a ball and there was swelling behind my eye. I was supposed to take it again tonight and twice tomorrow and then I'm seeing the doctor on Friday, but I forgot to bring home the eye drops from our place up north and now I would've been putting the eye drops in, and my eye is itching. The pain and vision problems that came with the injury have been gone for a while now. Should I be worried? Is it worth driving 2 hours to get the eye drops, or should I see the doctor tomorrow?
