What is a good download speed for ATT?

i have their fastest option-i think its called elite-anyway its the fastest i can get from them.i tested it at speedtest.com and it showed around 5 mb per second.checked it also thru att-it was around 5 also.is this good? can i get better-and how do i do it-PS-i dont want to lose mcafee security if i clean out the system....................
