Why is it when i click on a website i would like to look at i get a completly different site?

i use google chrome and have done for some time,over the past few weeks i have noticed that if i click on a website,i get something else,i have run spy-bot search and destroy,mcafee,and ad-aware to see if there maybe a virus but nothing showed up.any help would be much appreciated
